Across Seattle and its surrounding suburbs, Lovell houses have been altered, enlarged, restored, personalized, and lived in for generations.
These archival tax-record photographs, paired with contemporary images, offer a broader view of that evolution. Seen together, the houses reveal both the persistence of Lovell’s underlying design language and the countless small adaptations made by the people who have called them home.
